Mountain Man
A mountain man is the last thing John Crudder, The Midnight Marauder, thought he would be. But when outlaws robbed the express office in Bandera and went on a killing spree as they left town, John knew he had to seek to balance the “scales of justice.”
His journey took him to the mountains of far West Texas and on the adventure of a lifetime. John is ambushed by the outlaws he’s tracking. The bandits steal his great stallion, Midnight, all of his supplies, and even his boots.
As he sets out after the outlaws, he is attacked by vicious animals and left near death. He has to survive not only his injuries but some of the harshest weather ever.
An unlikely ally nurses John to health and puts him back on the trail of the murderers. But the adventure is far from over. Will he be able to bring the desperadoes to justice? Will he ever find Midnight? Will he catch the murderers?
Early praise for John Crudder: Mountain Man
"If you have a hunger for an engaging, humorous western story, this is a must-read for you. Roy Clinton has again written about 'The Midnight Marauder,’ and I, for one, could not stop until the end. Roy Clinton's back story gives us a feeling of seeing the story happen. Can't wait for a sequel!" ~
